A few years ago, I had two foster very young foster children, pregnant with my own, and homeschooling my oldest. I felt like I had no time just to enjoy the kids, as I was cleaning all the time. I knew something needed to change.
I began while not knowing about the minimalist movement. I started by filling every box that came in with donatable items to go out. Since I bought two boxes of diapers a month, that worked well.
As the years passed, I realized I had not missed a single item I had donated. I also realized there was still hundreds of items that I didn't use. It was then I decided, instead of hoarding on to these items, I was going to give them to someone who might actually use them. This is my journey.
